A twist on candied nuts with the addition of chili oil. Delicious as a snack, over ice cream and salads!

Units Scale
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar (36g)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup nuts of choice (100g // I used walnuts and pecans)
  • 1 tbsp chili oil (I used lao gan ma)

  1. Add coconut sugar and water to a pan over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add in the nuts and chili oil and stir continuously for 4-5 minutes until glossy and all nuts are coated. Transfer to parchment paper and cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
