Description
Ultra creamy oat milk hot chocolate spiked with miso paste! Lightly sweetened with pure maple syrup, this dairy free hot chocolate is the perfect cozy drink to keep you warm.

Hot chocolate
- 1 cup oat milk (240ml)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (20g)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (8g)
- 1 heaping tsp miso paste (7g)
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate, optional (15g)
To serve
- vegan marshmallows
- coconut whip cream
- dairy-free ice cream
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients except miso paste into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir with a whisk vigour-sly to remove any clumps.
- Once it starts to bubble, reduce heat to low and then add miso paste (use a miso muddler if you have one). Keep whisking until smooth and miso paste is dissolved. Pour into a mug and serve.
